Description
The Exfo FTB-5800 Chromatic Dispersion Analyzer Module is a field-portable instrument designed to measure chromatic dispersion in optical fibers. Chromatic dispersion can distort signals and limit the performance of high-speed data networks. The FTB-5800 uses a phase-shift method to deliver accurate measurements, even over long distances. It’s compatible with the FTB-400 Universal Test System and integrates with the FLS-5800 light source for optimal testing. The FTB-5800 is a valuable tool for technicians who need to ensure the quality and capacity of fiber optic networks.
