Description
The Accu-Gage 5/8-18 UNF-3A Thread Plug – Go/NoGo is a tool used to inspect threads. It has two sides: a Go side and a NoGo side. The Go side is slightly smaller than the nominal size of the thread, and the NoGo side is slightly larger. The Go side is used to ensure that a threaded part can be screwed into a mating part without binding. The NoGo side is used to ensure that a threaded part is not too large to fit into a mating part. In other words, the Go/NoGo system helps ensure that threaded parts are manufactured to the correct dimensions.
